Senior Quality Analyst
Location: 6021 142nd Ave N, Clearwater, FL 33760  (Remote Possible)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours/week)

Summary:
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for QA/QC and testing of functionality that has been delivered by the CHS/CTS development team, ensuring software meets quality standards, functions correctly and provides a seamless user experience. The candidate will be responsible for documenting all bugs, communicating the bugs to the development team, and ensuring that they are properly resolved. This candidate will participate in a team environment to provide continuous improvement to existing systems.
 
Familiarity with compliance requirements related to HIPAA, CMS, AHCA, NAIC, OIG, URAC, DHEC, Medicaid, and Medicare is beneficial but not required. A strong logical mindset and a focus on user experience and compliance are essential.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


- Unit tests system enhancements, reports and data interfaces as assigned
- Supplies or creates necessary data for unit testing as needed
- Develops and executes comprehensive test
- Writes test cases that address all possible scenarios based on technical and business requirements
- Tests data validations that are embedded in import and export processes
- Plan and implements regression testing required prior to releasing new software/enhancements to production
- Recommends tools and software required to enhance, enforce, and make efficient the testing of releases, such as Azure DevOps Test Planning
- Learns and understands the data structures and data supporting applications
- Writes SQL queries to analyze data pre and post test
- Participates in design and documentation of new enhancements based on business requirements
- Participates in design/development of Proof of Concept software for new enhancements
- Ensures programs and processing complies with Company policies and change control protocols
- Participates effectively in project requirements, development and testing status review meetings
- Performs system configuration and tests prior to implementation
- Communicates testing results effectively at low level and executive summary level
- Performs help desk support to end users as assigned
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of end user documentation
- Assists with user acceptance testing: performing tasks such as introductory training, granting access, setting up data and scenarios, answering questions and providing guidance to users, and documenting bugs/issues and providing feedback to the development team

Qualifications

Qualifications:


- A minimum of six (6) years of testing and overall QA in a systems environment
- Advanced computer skills in testing software
- Advanced computer skills using Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010, Office 365
- Proficiency in writing TSQL Queries/Stored Procedures
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
 
Education and/or Experience:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or six years of related technical experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
 
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

- Microsoft certification - Preferred
 
Computer Skills:

- Advanced proficiency with standard Microsoft programs such as: MS Word, MS Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Visio
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and Tools
- Exposure to Azure Cloud and Dev Ops Test Planning - Preferred


Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to repetitive motion such as typing, data entry and vision to monitor. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
